Who We Are
We are a church located in Northport, Alabama.
We are an independent Baptist Church located in Northport, AL. We are committed to the sequential, expository preaching of God's Word, primarily. That is, most of our pulpit ministry is devoted to preaching verse by verse through entire books of the Bible.
Todd Bryant
Todd has been pastoring Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Northport, AL since December 1998. During that time, he has been blessed to see many saved and baptized. The church has been blessed to begin a number of new missionary endeavors under Todd’s ministry including a (former) radio broadcast, a CD ministry, a tract ministry (including the printing of several booklets and books), a web-site and a newly authorized iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android app. He has had the opportunity to preach for churches in 13 states. He is committed to expository preaching—realizing this is truly the only way to live “by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4).
