About

Who We Are

We are a church located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Who We Are
PROVIDENCE ARP began as a mission church in Fayetteville, NC in 2002. Our mission was to be used by God to create a strong Reformed and Evangelical Christian church where the doctrine of the gospel is preached, the administration of the sacraments as instituted by Christ is maintained, and church discipline is faithfully exercised. Our great desire is to be used in bringing in the Lord's harvest as people are brought to saving faith in Jesus Christ. We have grown quite a bit since our founding and we became a particular church in 2005, but our mission remains the same. Soli Deo Gloria!

What Denomination We Belong To

We are part of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP) NOT the larger mainline PCUSA.

The ARP is a theologically conservative Presbyterian and Reformed Christian denomination founded in Philadelphia in 1782. Here is our denominational webpage: ARP Homepage

What We Believe

Here is a brief summary of our fundamental beliefs:

We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy.
We believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation.
We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people not simply as individuals but as families in successive generations according to His Covenant promises.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.
We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Andrew Webb

I was converted out of paganism and the occult in 1993 and while I was initially Charismatic/Arminian in my theology, I became Reformed and Presbyterian through bible study and the influence of ministries like Ligonier. After teaching in local bible studies, and taking seminary courses part time, I began to feel called to the ministry in 1997. I was Ordained as an RE at Christ Covenant PCA in Hatboro, PA in 2000 and as a TE by Central Carolina Presbytery in 2001 when I was called to be the Organizing Pastor/Church Planter for Providence PCA Mission, Cross Creek PCA's church plant in Fayetteville, NC (home to Ft. Bragg and Pope Airforce Base). In 2020 Providence and I transferred into the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP).
