Who We Are
We are a church located in Frankfort, Illinois.
Peace Community Church is a Presbyterian church and a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Chicago Metro Presbytery. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inerrant Word of God. We adhere to the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms as secondary standards that accurately summarize and communicate the system of doctrine taught in the Bible.
Kurt Kruger
Kurt is an ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America and is a member of the Chicago Metro Presbytery. He has been married to his wife, Dawn, for over thrity years and they have two adult believing children. Kurt holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Eastern Illinois University, an M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Boston, MA, and a D.Min. from Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, FL. He is the author of Tentmaking: A Misunderstood Missiological Method (Wipf & Stock, 2020). In addition, he has written hundreds of articles for Sunday School Guide Publishing that provide verse by verse commentary on selected Old Testament and New Testament passages.
