Who We Are
We are a church located in Lusaka, Zambia.
Kabwata Reformed Baptist Church is a Confessional Reformed Baptist Church. By Confessional, we mean a church with a detailed Confession of Faith - known, loved, defended and confessed by all church members.
By Reformed, we mean a church that stands in the tradition of experimental (practical) Calvinism. To this end, we have adopted the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith as our confession. Read this doctrinal standard and familiarize yourself with its contents. To borrow Charles Haddon Spurgeon's words, "This ancient document is the most excellent epitome of the things most surely believed among us.
Conrad Mbewe
Conrad Mbewe has pastored Kabwata Baptist Church since 1987. He has a PhD in Missions from the University of Pretoria in South Africa and was the founding Chancellor of the African Christian University in Zambia. He is also an itinerant preacher who has ministered globally and has a passion for writing.
