Wed. Prayer Meeting @6:30pm. Bible Study: We will continue to study the "Glorious Body of Christ" tonight looking at the topic of "the unity and diversity in the glorious body of Christ". There is much confusion in our day about what "unity" and "diversity" really mean in the church and yet the Scriptures are not confusing. It is when we drift away from God's Word that we get confused.

Wed. Prayer Meeting @6:30pm. Bible Study: Do not Fear- We will be focusing on the passage of 2 Kings 6:8-23. Have you had experiences in your life in which the situation looked really bad, only to find out later the Lord was doing something you could not see. You then realized that things are not always as they seem to be.

Wed. Prayer Meeting @6:30pm. Bible Study: Psalm 139- This week we will be continuing our topic of do not be afraid, and looking at "Do not be afraid of how you will die". “ It is not so terrible to those who have been thinking seriously on it as it is to others who have never done this. No wonder many are terrified or stupefied at death, since they never learned the lesson of dying before it came on them.” James Durham (1622-1658)

Wed. Prayer Meeting @ 6:30pm. Bible Study: we will be continuing in our study of "Do not be afraid". Our topic will be, "fear of death and dying". Please read Hebrews 2:14-18, and John 11:1-27 in preparation. “Expiring saints have often said that their last beds have been the best they have ever slept upon. Wed. Prayer Meeting @6:30pm. Bible Study Exodus 14- Consider Israel, with Egypt behind them and the uncrossable Red Sea before them. And the Lord led them to this very place for a very important reason. Do you see the reason? Could it be the Lord puts you in tough spots for a reason? “It is far more honorable to seek conformity to Christ and in his cross, than despise and fly away from his sufferings... they are very evil-worthy of the sweet who will not endure the sour.” Samuel Rutherford (1651)

Wed. Prayer Meeting @ 6:30pm. Bible Study: Fear. “ fear is evil, if it begets the use of evil means—either to preserve or acquire that which is good, or to avoid evil. This is true if we fear man more than God and, in neglecting both the fear of God and obedience toward His commandments, we seek to get man on our side in sinful ways. We then give no heed as to whether we displease God; as long as we can please men in order that they will do us no evil, but good. (Mat. 10:28)” Wilhelmus A'Brakel (1635-1711)

Wed. Prayer Meeting @ 6:30pm. Bible Study 1 Thess. 5:22-24. "True religion, in great part, consists in Holy Affections. Their religion appeared true and of the right kind when it had its greatest trial of what sort it was... tried in fire, their religion was not only proved true but pure, cleansed from its dross and mixtures of that which was not true, and when religion appeared in them most in its genuine excellency and native beauty, and was found to praise, and honour and glory." Wed. Prayer Meeting @ 6:30pm. Bible Study 1 Thess. 5:19-21 We are to test all prophecies and preaching of God's Word. The important question then is "by what means shall we test" these prophecies? And then what do we do with the results? "When thou art disappointed with men, retire to God and to his promises; and build upon this, that the Lord will not be wanting in anything to do thee good." ~Richard Sibbes (1577-1635)

Wed. Prayer Meeting @ 6:30pm. Bible Study 1 Thess. 5:19-21 Can you think of ways you might be quenching the Spirit of God in the preaching of His word? Look at vv 20-21 to find the answers. Wed. Prayer Meeting @ 6:30pm. Bible Study 1 Thess. 5:19-22 What is the role of the Spirit in our lives, and prophecies?
