Who We Are
We are a church located in Minden, Nevada.
Grace Community Church was planted in the Carson Valley in 1994. We started with a passion to exalt God, displaying and proclaiming His supremacy and truth, in our community and abroad. As a church body, we have been learning about God and His Word, seeking to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth and glorify Him in all that we do. When we started, He seemed so big! Now He seems so much bigger!
Brian Borgman
Brian Borgman is the founding pastor of Grace Community Church. He earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Biola University (La Mirada, CA), a Master of Divinity from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary (Portland, OR) and a Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Seminary (Escondido, CA) and a ThM from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Historical Theology. Pastor Brian has written My Heart For Thy Cause: Albert N. Martins Theology of Preaching (Christian Focus Publications, 2002), Feelings and Faith (Crossway, 2009), Spiritual Warfare: A Biblical and Balanced Perspective, with Rob Ventura (Reformation Heritage Books, 2014), After They’re Yours: The Grace and Grit of Adoption (Cruciform, 2014), An Exile’s Guide to Walking with God: Meditations on Psalm 119 (Free Grace Press, 2019).
