Who We Are
We are a church located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
We would love to have you visit us during our worship services. Our worship services are centered around the very Word of God, the Bible. God tells us His Word is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. We are so thankful He has given us His precious Word to be a light for our path. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you and Lord willing, we will see you soon.
Josh Henson
Pastor Josh is happily married to Christina Henson and is father to Cohen and Caleb. The sovereign Lord graciously converted Josh at the age of 18 and instilled in him a fervent desire to understand, worship and make known the Lord Jesus Christ. Josh is currently (2016) a Ph.D. candidate at Southern in Old Testament Studies. He was ordained and installed as Minister of Word and Sacrament at Grace Covenant Church in August 2016. Josh loves the church, is grateful to be a part of Grace Covenant and is inspired by their fervent love for the Lord and His people. He is a firm believer in a ministry characterized by the ordinary means of grace. He has studied in Israel, was a missionary-teacher in Mexico for three years, is an avid cyclist, loves watching Star Wars with his kids, going to the beach with his family and reading good books. His favorite book in the Bible is Ecclesiastes.
