Who We Are
We are a church located in West Columbia, South Carolina.
First, we are committed to the Exaltation of God. We desire that the people at Covenant truly understand who God is and His rightful place in their lives. He is our Lord and our Sovereign God to whom we owe worship and obedience. We proclaim God as Sovereign and Savior. He rules and reigns in the affairs of men and He alone is able to save us from our sinful condition.
Pastor Charles Swann
Charles Swann is current pastor/teacher of Covenant Baptist Church in West Columbia SC He was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida where he attended Luther Rice Seminary and then moved to South Carolina in order to attend Columbia International University and earned a major in Biblical Languages and minor in Pastoral Ministry. He has served as pastor in churches in South Carolina and Georgia.He has a passion for Eschatology, the study of last things and is a competent expositor of Reformed Theology. He and his wife Angela, have two children, Luke and Lora.
