Who We Are
We are a church located in Silver City, New Mexico.
Today, our church has numerous ministries, studies, fellowships, our own school and a radio station.
Our mission is three-fold: "Upreach" - to worship God and grow in relation with Him, "Inreach" - loving and taking care of His flock, "Outreach" - seeking and saving those who are lost and in need of the hope of the gospel of Christ.

Joseph Gros
Pastor Joseph Gros, a native New Mexican, grew up in a Catholic home. He attended church throughout his childhood, yet never had a personal relationship with the Lord. In 1981, he surrendered his life to Christ and began to have an insatiable desire to study the Bible, share the gospel, and see others come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God led him and his beautiful wife Dea to Silver City, New Mexico where they began a Bible study in February of 1993. This Bible Study saw wide growth and eventually became what is known as Calvary Chapel of Silver City. Today, the church has numerous ministries, studies, fellowships, their own school and a radio station.
