About

Who We Are

We are a church located in Sedalia, Missouri.

At Bethany we are evangelical and conservative. We teach that God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for sinners and then raised Him from the dead to offer forgiveness and eternal life to all who turn to Him and trust in Him. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and sufficient to address every issue of life with complete authority. Our priorities are warm worship, expository preaching, evangelism and missions, and serving together in Christ.

What do we do? Our members participate in a variety of ministries. We emphasize Bible study. We provide discipleship programs for our children and youth. We meet weekly for prayer. We are committed to Christ's Great Commission; we strive to be a "Go & Tell" church! In the past eighteen month our members have served meals to the needy, volunteered in an Ozark camp for disadvantaged children, provided tornado recovery assistance in Joplin, Missouri, served in summer Christian sports ministry, assisted missionaries in Paraguay and India, and served in orphanages in Mexico and Haiti.

That's Us! We are excited about our opportunities to grow in God's grace and to participate in reaching our world for Christ.

  • We preach from the ESV Bible.
