Who We Are
We are a radio broadcast located in Burlington, North Carolina.
The Beacon Broadcast is the radio ministry of Gregory N. Barkman, pastor of Beacon Baptist Church in Burlington, NC. The Sunday half-hour programs and the Monday through Friday 15-minute programs are systematic expositional teaching through the Bible.
Gregory N. Barkman
Gregory N. Barkman moved to Alamance County, North Carolina, with his wife Marti in 1973 at the invitation of nineteen believers who desired to begin a new independent Baptist church. A stong proponent of expository preaching, Pastor Barkman teaches regularly from the Beacon pulpit, and is heard on the Beacon Broadcast. Greg and Marti have four daughters, and live in Haw River, NC.
