Who We Are
We are a church located in Twickenham, London, England.
A very warm welcome to all visitors to our page. We hope you will be much blessed by the sermons and videos we have made avaialble. We are a Baptist \ Evangelical church based in Twickenham, in an area called ST Margarets, in London, England. Amyand Park Chapel has been part of the local community for over one hundred years. We are not a sect or some new religious movement. On the contrary, we believe the same Christian Gospel which first reached these shores centuries ago. It is this good news which we wish to share with you.
Gerard Hemmings
Gerard was born in London and was raised a Roman Catholic. He was saved at the age of 17. He graduated from university with a degree in Biology and taught the subject for a number of years. Since 1992 he has pastored the church which meets at Amyand Park Chapel, Twickenham in south-west London. Gerard is married to Mandy and they have 4 grown up children. His interests include cricket, mountain walking and current affairs. He has spoken at regularly at conferences in the UK and in Europe, Asia and Africa.
