Day 1: Read Luke 8:40-44 and discuss: What was particularly sad about Jairus's daughter? What was the main obstacle for Jesus regarding Jairus's request? Why? What does the woman signify about the way God works?
Day 2: Read Luke 8:40-44, Lev. 15:25-26, & Hag. 2:11-13 and discuss: What were the particular challenges this woman had? In what ways did she suffer? Describe them and imagine being in such a situation. How do these passages apply to us in our everyday lives?
Day 3: Read Luke 8:40-44, 5:12-13, 7:14, 38, & 48 and discuss: What do these accounts reveal to us about Jesus and His nature? What was the main reason Jesus could eat with sinners? Explain double imputation. Why is this doctrine so important?
