Day 1: 2 Cor 8:1-5, Mark 12:41-43, 1 Sam 16:7 and discuss: Why did Paul make it a point to refer to the Macedonians in they way they gave? According 2 Cor 8:5, what did they give to the Lord first before giving of their means? How should this affect the way that we give?
Day 2: 1 Chr 22:14, 1 Chr 29:14 & 16, Rom 12:1, Gen 22:5 and discuss: If all that we have belongs to God, why would He want for us to give? How are we to offer ourselves to God? How is giving to that degree worship? How are Abraham and Isaac examples of giving and worship?
Day 3: 2 Cor 8:15, Exo 16:4, 16-24, Matt 6:11, John 6:49 and discuss: How does Paul's quoting of Ex 16:18 reinforce the truth of where our resources come from? How is Exodus 16 a principle for giving? How is money a test of our stewardship? Why should we seek God daily for our provision? How does Jesus satisfy our every need in a way that money cannot?
