I. The Life of Faith According to Jesus
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.—1 Tim. 6:12

II. Judgement or Discipline?

III. The Constant Intercession of Our Mediator (13-19)
And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. … Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.—Jn. 17:5, 24
Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.—Heb. 2:17-18
