EXCERPTS:
Let's not be too quick to criticize a narrow entrance. I saw a photo of a hotel in Barcelona. The door entrance was small but the hotel was rated 4-star**. The feast that awaits will also be 4-star.
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (19th C.Hindu Teacher: "[Just] as one can climb to the top of a house by using a ladder or some bamboo or a staircase or a rope, so also, there are different ways...to approach God, and every religion in the world shows one of those ways.”
Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name...by which we must be saved."
I Tim.2:5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God & men, the man Christ Jesus."
John Greenleaf Whittier: “Of all sad words of tongue & pen the saddest of these is: 'It might have been.' "
It is unsettling to think that some relatives or friends may not make it, or that God excludes; yet, Jesus teaches the way is narrow. He also teaches the invitation is wide; and the time is now. Will you be entering the feast?
