• Review – the Biblical Support, Meaning, Necessity of the Incarnation of Christ
The Relationship between the Virgin Birth Christ and His Incarnation - Jesus being born in the same way as any other human was necessary – Three Points from Scripture:
A. Jesus Referred to as a man, or the “Son of Man” in the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:47; 1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 11:19)
B. Jesus called “the Seed of woman” (Genesis 3:15), the Seed of Abraham”, (Genesis 12:3; 22:18; cf. Galatians 3:16), the “son of Abraham” (Acts 3:25); “the son of David” (Luke 1:32; Psalm 132:11); “the seed of David” (Romans 1:3); came from “the fathers,” “according to the flesh” (Romans 9:5; cf. 9:3)
C. Christ “made a little lower than the angels” (Hebrews 2:9); called “our brother” (v.11; see also, 4:15); “partaken of flesh and blood” (v. 14); “had to be made like His brethren” (v. 17; 5:1)
