Yet, the book of Revelation predicts the world's end depicting an extremely dire outlook. In detail, Revelation chronicles:
• the end of the apostate church—hence, liberal Christianity rejects Revelation
• the end of Satan—hence, the hordes of hell attempt to discredit Revelation
• the end of apostate Israel—hence, Jews refuse to accept Revelation as scripture S
• the end of the Gentile nations—hence, the secular world does not acknowledge Revelation as serious literature

Revelation's rejection by the mass of humanity should come as no surprise. Why would the World Council of Churches, the United Nations, or any governmental entity place any stock in a treatise that predicts the destruction of all the world's governments? It exposes all the frustration of their efforts as peace-seeking organizations. Revelation repudiates everything this world has been striving to avoid—complete destruction!
