Pastor starts by telling us what the summer schedule will be for Cliffside.
Last Sunday, you might remember, we talked about Melchizedek. And we start today with the third Feast Day which is the Resurrections, of which there are three. The destination of the resurrected is what we need to delineate. But First Fruits has to do with the subatomic location, the gathering of both physical information and metaphysical information which has to be done. Yes... we do Quantum Physics at this church.
But the thesis statement for today is, Melchizedek embodies resurrection. He is God/Jesus Christ, creator and sustainer... and Resurrector! If this is not Christ, it is meaningless! He's there in Genesis 18 advocating for Justice. And this is the same as Genesis 15. Listen for the discussion of Genesis 18 and how it is a continuation of Genesis 15, from Genesis 14. This will tie together some things for you that you've probably not heard before. Matthew 4 and Luke 4 adds information, where Satan attempts to persuade someone. Did Satan know in all these cases that he's talking to God?
Now, we might move on to Genesis 15:1... but first, the Angelic realm... because they're watching. But yes... now comes Genesis 15:1. We're not going to settle for a translation here, but we want to find out what the Hebrew phrase means when it says "The Word of the Lord". Then in 4 we have BEHOLD, the Word of the Lord comes... and we faithfully stop, because something amazing is here! And we're only to the 35-minute mark of this lecture, So... Press play... only after you've gotten your note taking device and opened you TextBook (unless you're driving. Then it's alright to only press play).
