We are in 1 Kings 13 because of Psalm 22. We're in Psalm 22 because of Romans 5:12-15. This is a discussion of the death or, mortagenic factor. How did this flaw get introduced, and how does it get transferred to each generation?
The last time people found the inhibitor of this death factor, God stepped in and destroyed the earth. And now… who do you think is close to discovering it? The Israelis’. Pastor quotes a news story about the Hebrew university who is working on this... and they're almost there. With this drug they can extend the average age of people to 250, and at 200 people would have the vitality of a 50 year old. Think of the military and political implications. Now... what's the down side? Pastor explains.
Pastor says, now we can start the sermon. 1 Kings 13 is actually true. The bible names Shemaiah as the unknown prophet. And this passage, like all of them, is steeped in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

What follows is very interesting, and you’ll learn about the two men and why they’re important. So… it’s time to get out your notebooks and open your TextBook. Next just sit back and press play.
