Note to Sermon Audio listeners: There are videos of our lectures available for you on our website, www.cliffside.org and on our new app (the app is available for download on the homepage of our site).
The lecture starts with Consciousness is not commutable. And our pastor covers a quick litany of where we have been and how we got to where we are now. 'Quick' is relative at Cliffside. He culminates this with... God says, I am the Lord and I change not. And Time is not reversable. Created beings like us are locked inside of time, and God is in authority. Pastor goes over the "I Am"'s.
Ah... a new word. "Digressrant" because today we're going to go to Adam, Moses and Jesus Christ. Adam has his scripture, Romans 5:14, as does Moses, Deuteronomy 18:15. Adam and Moses need to be looked at as one, so we can more clearly see Jesus. Just overlay the two and compare them to Christ. This is the Jude 9 discussion where Satan and the Archangel Michael contest for Moses's body. Connected to this is Genesis 2:7. The commentary pastor gives us on this is really good. Who had a body first? And, did God take His time to make Adam's body? Like creation, there's an order to it and it's important. The Angels are watching, and God is always teaching His created. How long did Adams body lay fully formed before God breathed life into it? The child Christ is called "The Holy Thing". How does all this connect? I'm not going to tell you. You'll need to watch and listen (the video is on our website).
Obviously, there's much more to this lecture. It's about an hour long. So, open your TextBook and get out a note taking device (or you can take notes on our app), then press play.
