It seams we are going virus... okay, maybe metastasizing. But on with the lecture...
There are a lot of verses that are interrupted so incorrectly, they are misunderstood as passages of animals having Nephesh Chayyah. This pastor says he's sure we can clear up the aforementioned misunderstanding. Their immortality is an absolute guarantee. This a fundamental doctrine.
Why do animals die? Why are animals immortal? The answers are not simple, but Ecclesiastes 3:18-22 can help. I'll let pastor fill us in. Solomon asks rhetorical questions to make his point. Why can't commentators after the late 1800's get this right? They'll pontificate on Ecclesiastes 3:18-21, on the cessation of animals and completely ignore verse 22. Solomon says, We are animals. What happens to man and what happens to animals, is.. the.. same! Okay... it seams like I'm ranting at you, but it's just so important.
Now first, we need to understand what the Holy Spirit through Solomon means when he says 'vanity'. Today's definition? No good. Solomon gives three. If you like finding out things that you didn't know before, you're in the right place.
God brought animals to Adam and instructed him to name them, and he gave a new name to every single animal. Sound familiar?
But it get's worse. This pastor tells us, "There are stupid questions." And people suffer from low self-esteem. It's all about, What about me?!
God tells them, the animals, to go out and multiply. If they didn't have souls, what's the purpose of this? And why do animals need no repentance?! Anyway... I'll stop. I've accomplished what I set out to do. "Chasing away the visitors, every Sunday... no matter what."
So... press play.
