Why study 3 John?
This little letter will benefit our church in several ways:
1. It is scripture and all scripture is profitable, 2 Tim. 3:16.
2. It will teach us about church hospitality.
3. It commends good characteristics and condemns bad characteristics in Christian men.
4. It presents a vivid glimpse into the life of a first century church.
5. It will teach us how to balance truth and love in a church setting.
6. It will teach us to support worldwide missions and traveling preachers.
