Bill is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several decorations including the Combat Action Ribbon and the Navy Unit Commendation. He served four years with distinction as a Marine in Vietnam with the 3rd Marine Amphibious Forces which included the TET Offensive of 1968. Upon returning stateside, he served as a Marine Corps Drill Instructor in the Third Recruit Training Battalion at Parris Island, SC.
After his honorable discharge, he attended and graduated from Bible College and served at Fairhaven Baptist Church located in Chesterton, IN for over 26 years. He served as a youth pastor and camp director, then went on to become associate pastor of the Church and Vice President of the Church's college, Fairhaven Baptist College. | more | less
