ABOUT RSS FEEDS

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an easy and free way to get the information you want whenever it is updated, even if you are not on the SermonAudio.com web site.
To use RSS, you'll need to use an RSS reader — a program that provides a real-time interface to the feeds you select. RSS readers come in all sizes and shapes. Some are web-based; the newest versions of IE and Firefox have RSS readers built-in. We recommend an excellent RSS reader called FeedDemon but SermonAudio's RSS feeds should work with any reader using the standard XML-based format (such as Pluck, NewsGator, etc).
HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO RSS FEEDS
Pick a feed by scrolling down and browsing the links on this page or whenever you see an orange RSS button anywhere on the site. Simply right-click on the orange "XML" button and select "copy shortcut" or "copy link location." (Using a Mac? Click and hold or control-click instead of right-clicking.) Go to your news reader of choice, paste the link into the relevant spot and you're set.
HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO PODCASTS
A podcast is simply an RSS feed with the addition of MP3 "attachments" that are optionally downloaded by your podcast-client.
Pick a podcast feed by scrolling down and browsing the links on this page or whenever you see an orange PODCAST|MP3 button anywhere on the site. Simply click on the orange "Podcast" button.
- 1-Click Subscription Easy Method. After clicking on the orange podcast button, simply click on the "Apple iTunes" or "Microsoft Zune" link (depending on which player you have) which will immediately launch the iTunes or Zune application and will automatically subscribe to the podcast. More info..
- Alternate Method. After clicking on the orange podcast button, then RIGHT-click on the XML link and select "copy shortcut" or "copy link location." (Using a Mac? Click and hold or control-click instead of right-clicking.) If you're using the latest version of iTunes, click on the "Advanced/Subscribe to Podcast" menu, paste the link into the relevant spot and you're set! If you're using the latest Zune player, go to the "Collections | Podcasts" section and click on the "Add A Podcast" button.
HOW-TO SUBMIT PODCASTS TO iTUNES & ZUNE
Every broadcaster (ie: FULL Member) on SermonAudio is automatically podcasting their sermons when it is uploaded to the site. And you can subscribe to any podcast feed at any time (as shown above). But to increase your exposure even more, we recommend submitting your podcast feed to the iTunes Directory and Zune Marketplace. It's easy! Here are the steps..
